Top Korean dance music artists Se7en and Rain each held concerts in Japan and China made their fans in the two respective countries wild with enthusiasm.
On October 22nd, Se7en held a solo concert entitled “Se7enism Japan Concert” at the Yokohama Arena. On the same day, Rain held his concert “Rainy Day in Beijing” at the Beijing Public Stadium. Although the performances were the first solo concerts both for the two singers, more than 10 thousand people for Se7en and 38 thousand people gathered to watch Rain perform live on stage. Both the concerts are evaluated as huge successes. Se7en and Rain are undoubtedly two great stars in the Korean music world and competition was expected between them when they decided to advance into international markets at a similar time. However, by choosing different stages to focus on their performances abroad, Se7en and Rain are contributing much to the promotion of the so-called Korean Wave in Asia.
